Questions people ask

Usually not. Life insurance replaces income other people are counting on, and if nobody depends on yours, a policy pays for a risk you do not carry. The two exceptions are debt that would fall on a co-signer or your estate, and wanting to spare your family the cost of a funeral. At this stage an HMO, critical illness cover, and a funded emergency fund protect you far more per peso than a life policy would.
