This site provides free, client-side financial tools (calculators, quizzes, and simulators) and a waitlist signup for our upcoming platform. We respect your right to data privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

2. How Our Tools Work

All financial tools on PlanWealth.ph (Emergency Fund Calculator, Risk Appetite Quiz, Retirement Calculator, Compound Growth Simulator, and any future tools) run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are processed on your device using client-side JavaScript. We do not send your financial inputs to any server, and we do not store them in any database.

When you close the browser tab or clear your browser data, the information you entered is gone. Some tools may use your browser's localStorage for convenience (e.g., saving quiz progress), but this data never leaves your device.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Waitlist signup

If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you about the platform launch, send product updates, and provide early access information. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

3.2 Automatically collected data

• Usage data — pages visited and timestamps, collected through standard server logs and analytics.
• Device data — browser type, operating system, and screen resolution sent by your browser in standard HTTP headers.

3.3 What we do NOT collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any financial data you enter into our tools. We do not collect names, phone numbers, addresses, government IDs, bank account numbers, or any other personally identifiable information beyond what is listed above. There are no user accounts on this site.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Waitlist communications — to send you the launch updates and emails you signed up for.
• Site improvement — to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which tools are most used) so we can improve the site. We do not track individual financial inputs.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers — Vercel (hosting) and our email service provider process data on our behalf under their respective data processing agreements.

We use only essential, first-party storage for site functionality:

• Theme preference — your light/dark mode choice is saved in localStorage.
• Tool state — some tools may save progress in localStorage for convenience (e.g., quiz answers). This data stays on your device.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

7. Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed within thirty (30) days. Server logs containing usage data are retained for up to ninety (90) days and then deleted.

As a data subject under RA 10173, you have the following rights:

• Right to be informed — to know what data we collect and how we use it (this policy).
• Right to access — to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Right to erasure — to request deletion of your email from our waitlist.
